— What is SanteeFIt —
The Science of Movement · The Philosophy of Balance
Bridging Eastern wisdom and Western science to promote global physical and mental well-being through a nonprofit mission. Every breath and every practice is a journey toward inner balance and physical healing.
SANTEEFIT is a professional and holistic health & movement training system, integrating the core principles of Traditional Eastern Sports Medicine with modern Western exercise science and movement rehabilitation.
Where East Meets West · Tradition Meets Science
SANTEEFIT draws deeply from ancient Chinese wellness practices — including Tai Chi, Wu Qin Xi (Five Animal Frolics), Dao Yin, Yi Jin Jing, and Ba Duan Jin — focusing on the dynamic integration of: Breath · Meridians · Consciousness · Movement
This 4-dimensional approach regulates energy flow (Qi), activates the body's meridian channels, cultivates awareness, and restores physical harmony. With modern sports medicine, strength training, functional movement analysis, and rehabilitation techniques, SANTEEFIT delivers a personalized and scientific training experience that responds to each individual's body conditions, lifestyle, and goals.
— The Story Behind SANTEEFIT —
I grew up witnessing the impact of illness within my family. Several of my relatives passed away from cancer at a young age—some in their forties—and I never had the chance to meet my grandparents due to their early deaths from illness. These experiences taught me, from a young age, that health is not a given, but a precious asset that must be actively nurtured.
Encouraged by my father, I began physical training early in life, developing a deep appreciation for a strong body and a balanced lifestyle. After graduating from university, I pursued a career in martial arts and movement health education. Over the years, I noticed a concerning trend: many people don’t truly understand their own bodies, and often engage in exercises that are inappropriate or even harmful.
True health, I realized, isn’t just about strength or endurance—it requires inner balance, mindful breathing, emotional release, and clarity of thought. A truly effective system must integrate both physical precision and mental alignment.
That’s why I created SANTEEFIT—a nonprofit wellness system that blends Eastern wisdom (Tai Chi, breathwork, meridian stretching) with Western exercise science (functional training, rehabilitation, biomechanics). Our approach is science-based, individualized, and rooted in a “from-inside-out” philosophy, helping people find their own sustainable path to well-being.
But beyond the method itself, SANTEEFIT is built on gratitude and compassion. Along my journey, I’ve received immense support from friends, peers, and mentors. I’m deeply thankful—and I want to give back. Many people need health support but simply can’t afford professional training.
SANTEEFIT is my way of offering that support—a safe, accessible space where individuals can find healing without financial pressure.
This is not a business. SANTEEFIT is a bridge—connecting cultures, sharing care, and empowering people to reclaim their health.
— About the Founder —
Master Santee Founder Of SANTEEFIT
SANTEEFIT was founded by XUEYUAN, a Tai Chi champion, movement health educator, and the first woman from Guizhou to be admitted to the prestigious Wushu program at Beijing Sport University. Her lifelong dedication to martial arts and health began at age eight, rooted in the ancient wisdom of internal balance, breath control, and mind-body harmony.
Over the past two decades, her journey has spanned international stages—from winning top honors in world-class martial arts competitions to coaching national champions in Singapore and serving as a certified referee across the U.S. and Asia. She holds certifications as a National Senior Sports Dietitian, Martial Arts Referee, and National-Level Athlete in China, as well as Singapore’s NCAP and First Aid credentials.
During her coaching and academic pursuit years, she encountered Western sports science, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles. Rather than drawing a line between Eastern traditions and Western methodologies, she saw an opportunity for integration:
Eastern practices cultivate internal awareness, breath, and energy flow.
Western systems emphasize precision, muscular activation, and functional performance.
Thus, SANTEEFIT was born—a nonprofit wellness initiative that blends the inner cultivation of Tai Chi, breathwork, meridian stretching, and meditative awareness with evidence-based strength training, rehabilitation, and functional mobility science. It is not just a training method, but a public wellness bridge connecting cultures, healing bodies, and empowering individuals.
XUEYUAN has also been an active contributor to international cultural exchange, including co-organizing key events such as:
The 50th Anniversary of the Chinese Martial Arts Delegation's Visit to the U.S.
Commemoration to mark the 48th anniversary of China-U.S. "Ping-Pong Diplomacy
Singapore International Cultural Festival Promotion Ambassador

— Healing Through Nature —
Live in harmony with the natural way.
Through slow, mindful movement, we begin to feel the body as part of the earth — breathing with the wind, grounding with the soil, and flowing like water. In this connection, control becomes softness, and strength returns to stillness.
The greatest goodness is like water.
Water flows with ease, adapts without resistance, and nourishes all without seeking reward.
In our training, we move like water — soft but powerful, flowing yet grounded, responding instead of resisting.
Whether through Tai Chi, breathwork, or mindful mobility, we invite the body to return to its natural rhythm, where strength arises from stillness, and healing begins in softness.
